Sprinter Conversion
The Base
In the end of October 2018 I bought this used Mercedes Sprinter 906, short and high. It was freshly painted (it used to be white). I took this pictures the day I picked it up in Schwaz/Tirol, Austria.
Cutting the holes for the Seitz S4 (950×500) side windows.
Fixing the ground floor, first support of the paneling and the Armaflex insulation.
Roof window, insulation, pioneer sound system, paneling and preparation for the electrical installation in progress..
Paneling nearly done, windows and floor insulation ready. LED spots (Philips HUE System) ready.
Paneling and floor finished, roof windows finished, after the first propose with Sikaflex was leaking..
First test of the bed and kitchen construction.

BF Goodrich All Terrain 245/45/16 RWS on the original Mercedes rims.
Fiamma F45 awning and LED Bar installed. Picture taken at Xmas day, 25.12.2018
Bed construction fixed at 120cm, starting with the kitchen (based on Ikea Method), cooking/sink combi (Dometic HSG 2370) and the test of the water installation.
2nd battery and relay finished, fridge (dometic coolfreeze CFX 35) installed.
First overnight sleep in the van, 2.2.2019
Test trip to Istria/Croatia
Kitchen finished, water, gas, electricity working but still needs improvement 🙂
